This allowed the Sheriff’s Posse to concentrate solely on the rodeo itself. Starting with just shy of 200 entries, these days, it has blossomed to up to 250 entrants. They pour in from all across Northern California to participate. In the early years, competitors vied in 32 categories. Now, entrants have 52 broader classes to enter, all offering coveted prizes and trophies. Get more info here.
